The problem
Migration can split a career into fragments: documents remain in one country, publications in another, recommendations with former colleagues. Amerpass explores ways to bring this history together with its context and relationships.
From RUPASS to Amerpass
The practical experience of RUPASS informed an interest in professional recognition and institutional trust. Amerpass develops that line for transnational biographies, independent professionals and digital environments.
Current stage
The project is developing as conceptual and digital infrastructure. Its public description identifies design and internal testing. The Amerpass paper presents the research model; the project website provides current access information.
Scope of the model
Organizing a professional biography and supporting records does not substitute for a government identity document, a license, degree recognition or an institutional decision. Its purpose is to make experience more coherent and understandable.
