Publication and changing roles

The author’s CV gives the period 2005–2021. His roles varied: the 2009 issue lists him as project director, while material from 2010–2013 identifies him as editor-in-chief and publisher. The archive preserves those distinctions.

Themes and civic context

Migration was considered through regulation, work, institutional encounters and individual lives. Editorial work brought public debate together with practical information for readers.

Surviving records

Issue 5–6 of 2009 is available through HSE. Demoscope preserves contents from 2012–2013, including Leonov’s commentaries Za derzhavu obidno and Za ravnoudalennost.

Continuity of titles

The author’s history includes a later Russkaya Migratsiya project. Archival titles and periods are retained separately because registration, editorial membership and personal roles could change.
