Research question & overview

Recognition is considered as a sequence of decisions by educational institutions, regulators and employers. An academic degree assessment, permission to practice and actual employment have distinct bases.

The work examines regulated and non-regulated occupations, incomplete records following displacement and occupational downgrading during waiting. Non-state systems may preserve evidence but do not confer legal recognition.

The available version’s title page reports an initial IJIR publication on December 31, 2023. This site provides the substantially revised preprint of September 11, 2026, with evidence updated through September 10, 2026; a separate link to the original publication is not listed.
